I have always loved the water. I swam competitively from the age of 7 until the end of high school when I decided to focus on playing Volleyball in college. I attended the University of North Florida where I earned a degree in Sport Management and a Masters in Athletic Administration. Throughout my volleyball career, I continued to cross train in the pool, and competed in both Stand Up Paddle races, and SUP surf competitions.
Since my first job at 16, I have had a passion for teaching and sharing my love of the water. For the past 14 years I have taught swimming, surfing, volleyball, and stand up paddle to thousands of children of all ages and abilities. Since 2011, I have volunteered for Surfers For Autism and have had experience as a care provider for children with special needs. I value being trusted as a reliable essential resource for many families providing high quality swim lessons to ensure the safety and well being of their child.
In 2019, I branched out and started my own mobile swim lesson business where I taught lessons for ages 2+. In 2020, I earned my Safety First PediAquatics Certification in St. Cloud, FL taught by lead instructor, Becky Bond. During my 4-week training I learned to teach infants and toddlers to swim float swim for fun and self-rescue. I am so excited to be able to offer lessons for 6 months + in addition to stroke development while teaching your child how to safely swim in their own pool.
