MOBILE SWIM LESSONS

A progressive learn-to-swim program brought to the convenience of your at home pool within my travel range

SWIM-FLOAT-SWIM WITH ALLISON

New students begin with strong foundations in Basic Training, then continue building skills through weekly Maintenance or Beginning Stroke Lessons.

BASIC TRAINING

10-minute daily lessons · Monday–Friday · 4–6 weeks

Basic Training is a structured, progressive program designed for infants, toddlers, and young children starting as early as 10 months. Through consistent weekday lessons, children learn foundational water-safety and swimming skills that support confidence, independence, and real-world self-rescue.

LEARN MORE Using the Safety First PediAquatics method, children are taught the swim-float or swim-float-swim sequence. Students learn to swim in a strong, face-down, horizontal position, flip independently to float to rest and breathe on their back, and return to swimming to reach a safe target. Beyond self rescue, each lesson focuses on swimming to set targets in the pool, such as the steps, the wall, or an adult’s hands, helping skills naturally transfer to swimming for fun outside of lessons. Every child progresses at their own pace, and lessons are tailored to meet each student where they are developmentally. Over the 4–6 week program, strength, coordination, breath control, and confidence are built gradually through consistency and repetition. At the end of the program, children practice their new skills through a series of checkouts designed to simulate real-life scenarios, including practicing fully clothed how to flip to a float or swim to a target to safely get air in the event of an accidental fall into the water.

MAINTENANCE LESSONS

10 minute weekly lessons

After completing Basic Training, all students transition into Maintenance Lessons to support continued growth, skill retention, and progression as they develop. Just like any physical skill, swimming requires consistent practice to remain strong, reliable, and adaptable as children grow, change, and encounter new challenges in the water.

LEARN MORE Maintenance Lessons help keep swimming skills fresh, comfortable, and second-nature as kids grow and spend more time in the water. Weekly check-ins give us the chance to reinforce good habits, make small adjustments, and continue building confidence throughout the season.

STROKE LESSONS

10-20 minute weekly lessons

Perfect for children who have mastered the swim-float-swim sequence and are developmentally ready to learn the foundations of all four strokes—freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, and breaststroke.

LEARN MORE Stroke Lessons are customized for each child and focus on building strong fundamentals, improving technique, or getting ready for swim team based on their age and experience. Lesson length and structure are adjusted to keep sessions fun, engaging, and just challenging enough to support steady progress.

Before you enroll:

AM I THE BEST FIT FOR YOUR FAMILY?

I’m so happy you’re considering lessons with me. It’s a privilege to be the first coach your child will have, and I want to make sure this program is the right fit for your family. Before we move forward, I want to share a few important things to know so you can feel confident in your decision.

What to expect – Commitment & consistency You may see smiling kids underwater and impressive checkout videos, but reaching those results takes commitment, consistency, and time. – Emotional ups and downs Some children may cry or feel frustrated at times, and that is a normal part of learning. – Every child progresses differently Lessons are tailored to meet each child where they are developmentally, and progress looks different for every swimmer. – Small wins add up Each lesson focuses on small, meaningful improvements that build confidence over time. – At-home support matters You may need to adjust meal timing or what your child eats before lessons to support comfort in the water.

I am not a good fit if – Travel range is not a match You do not have access to a pool within my current travel range. (Using a friend’s, neighbor’s, or family member’s pool is absolutely fine.) Over the years, I’ve intentionally limited my travel range to the area where I live so I can provide reliable, consistent scheduling for families. – You’re looking for just a few lessons This program is designed to be progressive, and meaningful, lasting swimming skills cannot be developed or retained in just a few lessons. – You’re hoping every lesson feels playful and easy Learning new skills often involves challenges just beyond a child’s comfort zone. While this can feel uncomfortable at times, growth happens when children are calmly supported through it. – Your availability is very limited
To offer convenient, in-home lessons, my mobile schedule is carefully routed. Some flexibility helps ensure consistent lessons and allows me to best support all students. Families who value consistency and a long-term approach to learning tend to see the strongest results and enjoy the process most.

Important policies to know – Attendance & cancellations Each student is allowed up to two cancellations during a full 4–6 week program. This includes illness, travel, or personal conflicts. Cancellations must be communicated by text at least 24 hours in advance. Any cancellations beyond the two included, or lessons canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, are charged as a lesson. – Scheduling & lesson times Lessons are scheduled within a set time window based on your availability. Exact lesson times may vary slightly as needed to support an efficient mobile route. I always give advance notice and keep lessons within your selected availability window. – Deposit & payment A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a spot on my schedule and is applied toward your first invoice. The first invoice is due before lessons begin and secures a dedicated space on my mobile route.
